Cursed-yet-adorable "cryptid" doggo goes feral after meeting his mortal enemy - a tomato - for the first time; goes howlariously viral

We are so thankful that we grew up in the age of the internet. We've seen so many things that we never would have seen on our own, like a cat and an otter growing up together, lions bonding with their caretakers, and even videos of tigers "ice skating". But today, we're taking you down a spookier path (it is October, after all). There will be no meowjestic big cats stalking your screen today, nor any cute and cuddly otters snuggling with kitties. No, today, we're showing you an eternal battle that has been going on for…. about a week. But just because this feud is new, it doesn't make it any less potent. It's between two forces of good and evil: a cursed-yet-adorable "cryptid" doggo and his mortal enemy - a cherry tomato.

Upon seeing the cherry tomato for the first time, this cryptid canine's howlarious reaction took over the internet in a matter of minutes. He prances around the bed, snarling and growling at this fearsome vegetable, and yet, he is as curious as a cat about its true nature. Their pull towards each other is magnetic, neither one able to break away from the undeniable force of fate that brought them together. In the end, 'Spud' was removed by his pawrents, who thought he needed a break, because even the fiercest warriors need a nap. See more of their saga-worthy tale below!

Funnily enough, our doggo has the same reaction, but to water instead of tomatoes. To say she dislikes water is an understatement. She disdains the thought of being wet. It is the worst punishment we could give her. And yet, there comes a time every few months when she must battle the supervillain of her story - the bathtub.

Do you think Spud knows this tomato from a past life? How else could you pawssibly explain their disgust for each other? Unless he can speak to fruits (a tomato is a fruit, get over it), and this tomato has a potty mouth, then that would also be quite a logical explanation.
