Entitled uncle fakes heart attack to ruin family wedding, gets called out when the doctor shows up: 'Dan suddenly felt better [and] said it was indigestion'

In every family, there is that one person who cannot help but make everything about themselves.

In this case, that person was this groom's uncle. The groom's son recounted the story of his father's wedding and how there were concerns from the very beginning about what kind of stunt his crazy uncle would try to pull.

For further context, this was the kind of entitled family member who threw a fit when others got more attention than him. To clarify, yes, this was a fully grown individual who seemed not to mature internally after he was 10 years old. 

There was even one time when the uncle threw his own daughter's birthday cake in the trash because it seemed like she was having too much fun. Needless to say, those concerns going into the bride and groom's wedding were valid. 

When the day finally arrived, this man did not disappoint. He tried to fake a heart attack right as the bride was about to go down the aisle!

  • What this man did not anticipate, however, was that there would be several doctors and emergency medical professionals in attendance. These folks were able to quickly determine that this guy was overreacting after the idea of taking him to the emergency room was immediately rejected, and he suddenly was “fully recovered.” Ok, it probably would take a monkey to figure out that this man was lying. It also doesn't take much to determine that he's a narcissist as well. After all, he was willing to pretend to need medical attention in order to pull focus away from his nephew's big day.
