Woman with 7 month old baby doesn't want husband's family to stay with them during Christmas, he accuses her of being against his family when she speaks up about it: 'Our routines will be shattered'
The aura, energy, and excitement around the holidays can act as a double edged sword. On one hand there's so much joy and excitement around the holiday season, and on the other hand, there's just as much stress, pressure, and planning to do. Take the couple in the story here for example. The wife is the narrator to the story of Christmas chaos in that she's worried over her in-laws coming to visit for the holidays. They have to fly across the country, and everyone knows how difficult finances are lately, so they've asked to stay with the young couple. But here's the caveat: they don't have a lot of space, and they have a 7 month old baby.
If they didn't have the baby then things could be different. But I absolutely understand them not wanting to entertain in a small 1 bedroom apartment with a baby. The logistics grow into a deeper problem between the couple, but you'll have to read the full story below.
