Employee finds freezing kitten in trash bag, "introduces" them to their boss, then adopts the kitty cutie transforming their life from trash to treasure

Cats do not belong in trash bags. They don't belong in any bags, unless they hop in on their own (which they have been known to do). But they certainly shouldn't be outside, meowing for help, hoping some hooman will come and save them. This time there was, thankfully! On their way to work, one employee found a freezing kitten in a nearby trash bag, and knowing that they couldn't just leave them there or be late for work, they scooped them up and brought them to the office. Who doesn't love an office kitten?

Luckily, everyone at the office loved this kitty cutie (how could they not?) and the employee managed to bring them to the vet to get a check-up. They summed up their whole expurrience in one purrfect statement: they felt chosen by this cat. The reality is that the Cat Distribution System chose for them, but the only thing that matters is that fate brought these two together, and now they'll both have more love in their lives. And who knows, they might even get a new meowscot for their office!

    I brought the kitten into my office and I've wrapped it to keep it warm. I'm planning to take it to a nearby vet as soon as possible. Are there any signs I should watch out for on the way?

  • If we told our boss we were bringing a kitten to the office, they would be pawsitively ecstatic. No work would get done that day. We would spend the whole day oooohing and awwwwwing over the cute kitten. It would be a glorious, and very unprrroductive, day.

  • We've said this many times before, but we didn't find our first cat in the trash, but behind it! She was hiding behind a dumpster out back behind a movie theater, and we scooped her up and brought her home. She was a great cat!

    Delicious-Grass-5420 1d ago Congrats, you've got a cat now! I found my own little guy on my lunch break a few weeks ago. Your guy looks pretty small, you should maybe get some milk replacement for it - if you're in the US, Walmart sells it fairly inexpensively. My vet recommended mixing some warmed milk replacer with wet food for a couple of weeks before introducing solid foods.

    . Little_Anything7827 1d ago Make sure he gets fed. Dont touch his eyes they have a infection it looks like. have him relax and try to keep him in one room. You don't want him getting anything on your funrniture or getting lost in your house.

    to change so maybe start on a mix of wet and KMR, just check on how many teefers are teefing. Check out Kitten Lady in thre YouTubes for great afvice.     I'm not the best at estimating age based on pictures alone, but to me this looks like a little over a month old, maybe? So possibly not weaned yet. But it might be closer to five or six weeks... a vet would be able to tell you for sure.
