I brought the kitten into my office and I've wrapped it to keep it warm. I'm planning to take it to a nearby vet as soon as possible. Are there any signs I should watch out for on the way?

BuckyJamesDio · 1d ago Call your boss and tell her/him you're bringing a new friend. Later, get a vet checkup. I know this is easy for a complete stranger on the Internet, but it will be worth it. Good luck and keep us posted.

Delicious-Grass-5420 1d ago Congrats, you've got a cat now! I found my own little guy on my lunch break a few weeks ago. Your guy looks pretty small, you should maybe get some milk replacement for it - if you're in the US, Walmart sells it fairly inexpensively. My vet recommended mixing some warmed milk replacer with wet food for a couple of weeks before introducing solid foods.

. Little_Anything7827 1d ago Make sure he gets fed. Dont touch his eyes they have a infection it looks like. have him relax and try to keep him in one room. You don't want him getting anything on your funrniture or getting lost in your house.

I'm not the best at estimating age based on pictures alone, but to me this looks like a little over a month old, maybe? So possibly not weaned yet. But it might be closer to five or six weeks... a vet would be able to tell you for sure.

Very cute little thing regardless, thank you for saving them!!

One-Bridge-8177 • 1d ago Definitely take it in, love it and take care of it. I would try to find out who possibly could have been responsible, contact the authorities for animals in your area and report this. Who ever did this needs to be held accountable!!!
