Indoor cats are notorious for their fear of the outside world. Something about the vastness of it all, compared to the secluded safety of their home, just makes them unable to take a single step towards it. And even though that is true, sometimes they end up giving in to their intrusive feline thoughts and making a break for it on the whim of impulse. Quickly finding themselves in a situation that is far stickier than they intended to be in, and one that they do not quite know how to undo. And that is exactly what happened to the catto in this story, who made a break for it when it saw the opportunity to do so and ended up immediately regretting its decision.

But having no concept of how to get back inside its home it decided that crawling into a vent on the side of the house would be a good idea, getting itself stuck in the walls of its home. What resulted was a multi day mission to find and release the crazed cat child, involved several failed attempts by professionals and finally a successful attempt by a group of caring volunteers. Showing that love, care and dedication are truly all you need to succeed.
