Look, we need to address the Aquanet-scented elephant in the room. The 80s weren't just a decade, they were a structural engineering test disguised as a hairstyle trend. Hair wasn't styled, it was constructed. It was texturized, reinforced, shellacked, teased within an inch of its life, and then frozen into place like a neon-colored architectural marvel.
