Lately, there's been a disturbance in the Force - talks of a new movie trilogy have the fandom buzzing, and I'm left somewhere between excitement and existential confusion. Sometimes I feel like Star Wars is the best thing ever made, a timeless saga that made me the geek I am today. Other times, I wonder if I ever really liked the series in the first place. I grew up on the original trilogy; I was eight when I first saw Return of the Jedi in theaters, and that experience etched Star Wars into my very soul.
