Winter is officially here, everyone, and we don't know about all of you, but we are so, so happy about it. This is the season where we truly thrive. Something about the cold, something about the constant hot coca, something about the layering of the clothes… it gives us power. But maybe it's not those things. Maybe it's actually the fact that the cold makes our cats cuddlier, and constantly having our cats cuddle up to us, curl up in our laps for extra warmth, consistently giving us attention - maybe that is actually what's giving us all this extra power.

It really is true that cats change their behaviors during the winter. Suddenly, the same cats who spent their days lying in the cool sinks and on the cold floors… those cats are under blankets, living their best lives in that warmth. Those same cats are cuddling us all the time. Those same cats curl up in their little purritos every chance that they get, and our phones… get filled up with cute cat pictures even more than usual.

Tis the season. Our cats are, of course, cuddly all year long, but when winter comes, when that first breeze of cold air touches their fluffy fur, our cats become one hundred times cuddlier. And we are the beneficiaries of that. And that is simply ameowzing.

Oh, to be a cat curled up under a warm blanket on a cold winter day. This is the best feeling. Actually, no. Being cuddled up with your cat on a cold winter's day under some fluffy blankets… that is the best feeling by far.
