  • Curly haired woman feeling proud of herself
  • Check Your City's Parking Laws Other My neighbor from hell has 5 cars and a 2 car garage (that he ONLY uses for his precious Lamborghini).
  • He constantly takes up all the curb space right next to my driveway.
  • So close sometimes that his cars partially block both sides of my driveway, while his own driveway remains empty!

  • For years, it has made pulling in and out a pain for me and my husband.
  • Never thought to check my city's parking laws until today.
  • Found out that it's illegal to park a vehicle within five feet of a public or private driveway. Bam!
  • So I finally reported both cars and now I know it's not just me being petty!
  • Far_Meringue8625. I had a neighbor, may he rest in peace, who parked a 20 foot shipping container on our narrow suburban street until weeds were growing all around it. I finally got fed up and
  • reported it. It was gone next day. Same neighbor owned a triple lot. Sometimes we are too kind to neighbors. Neighbor never spoke to me again, but it was worth it.
  • Woman seriously driving a car
  • Sponge_67 That happened to me. I asked many times to leave some space and not park right up my driveway. They wouldn't listen so one night it was very cold so I took my
  • hose out and watered the car many times throughout the night. By morning I had a solid few inches of ice covering his car. They never parked there again. I was honestly waiting for a screaming match but never got one.
  • someThrowaway... i've had an abandoned car parked in front of my house for 2 years now, it has 17 "we're going to tow your car" stickers on it, and still sitting there...
  • learn your city's laws all you want, bureaucracy still fucks everything up.
  • NJTroy In our first house, we were on a moderately busy street with no on street parking. One of our neighbors across the street was at an intersection. The neighbor next door used to come here drunk on Friday nights after
  • his own driveway was full so he parked across on the side street, too close to the stop sign and then would weave his way across the 40 mph street to his house.
  • One day we had a major snowstorm leaving about 20" of snow on the ground. Everyone in the neighborhood is out shoveling their sidewalks when the snowplow comes up the side street.
  • Neighbor comes up to the drivers' side window and something changes hands. Snowplow guy backs up and slowly, carefully begins to plow a large pile of snow over the car. He only quits when there's a couple of inches of the antenna sticking out of the snowbank.
  • Now all of us who are shoveling are watching. Eventually now sober guy comes out & looks for his car. Can't find it. Took a couple days until it melted enough so he could see the rooftop. Took him days to dig it out because it was frozen rock solid by then.
  • Those neighbors were part of why we sold that house after a couple years there.
