Being a downstairs tenant sometimes means you no longer live in an apartment but in an experiment testing the limits of human patience and structural engineering. Above this lucky apartment lives a family of what they call three "kids," although these "kids" are high schoolers built like they were made in a sports lab. Every step overhead sounds like a stampede auditioning for a Michael Bay action movie. The floor shakes, the lamps vibrate, and quiet time is now a myth from a gentler past.  

When one particularly ferocious thud hits at 10 p.m., it feels like an airborne linebacker just landed mid-bedroom. The tenant trudges upstairs to look for logic and instead finds the father shrugging it off with a classic line: "They're just kids." No remorse, no awareness, just pure acoustic terrorism and a man confident that gravity will handle the rest. The family knows exactly how their thuds travel, they lived downstairs before. Which means the stomping is not ignorance, it's a live-action reenactment of their favorite Lion King scenes
