'I couldn't ignore him': A snow white kitten desperately calls out for help from person's backyard, demanding attention, immediately wins them over with his cuteness and gets adopted

The cold weather is finally hitting hard, and we have to remember that while we are at home, cuddling with our cats under fluffy blankets, they are stray cats outside who are feeling the weather hit much, much harder. It's very important to keep an eye and an ear out. Lots of cats find ways to handle the freezing weather, but lots of cats don't. Lots of cats need help, especially during this time. And although most cats won't ask for it - the most they would do is maybe hope that someone will see them and help, some cats will ask for help… loudly. 

In fact, some cats ask for help so loudly that they cannot be ignored. And we think that is a good thing. It's definitely an effective thing, that is for sure. The kitty in this story… he was not messing around. This little guy had absolutely no desire to try to get through this winter on his own, and boy, did he make sure of it. No more freezing outside. It's time to be nice and spoiled inside.

    OP BlazeReborn He appeared last Friday while I was gaming, meowing very loudly. I had to pick him up from atop the wall. He was very dirty, thin and flea-ridden. My wife gave him a bath to clean him and remove most of the fleas, and we kept him in a separate room to avoid interaction with my other two cats. Today he had a vet appointment, we confirmed he's not chipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He's eating very well, drinking a lot of water and is an absolute sweetheart of a cat. Purrs l

  • It's the “I couldn't ignore him” for us. It's the fact that this kitty refused to let up. It's the fact that he knew that this was his home, and if screaming is what it took to get in there, then screaming is exactly what was going to happen. And it worked. Yay.

  • That is how it is, friend. Some kitties just love to be part of our work meetings. And in case you are worried about that, we can tell you this with utmost certainty: there has never been a single person that this occurrence has ever bothered. Everyone - literally everyone - is happy when our cat shows up in front of the camera.

    OP BlazeReborn Hey everyone, dropping by to say thanks to everyone who wished us well. Luffy is thriving in our home. Our other cats have met him, lots of hissing and growling but nothing out of the ordinary for cats setting their boundaries. We expect a smooth adaptation (Koda is already easing up, Liara will take a while). For those wondering if he's deaf (as he's a white kitty with blue eyes): he isn't.     Nick-theNinja- Congratulations! My cat, Brittany, is just like Luffy and I was afraid she was deaf, but she hears perfectly. What I do have to control is the time she spends in the sun, her skin is very sensitive, especially the parts with little hair like her ears and nose, so the vet advised that she use sunscreen to avoid possible reactions and burns. Luffy is very cute, I hope he grows up healthy and happy!
