Boss cuts 22-year-old sandwich shop worker's hours after he helps train new hire: 'I went from working 30+ hours a week to working less than 15'

Considering how petty this guy's manager was, how he acted should come as no surprise after his top employee put in his two weeks' notice.

This 22-year-old was the most productive and efficient worker at the local sandwich shop, even if his manager seemed to always have it out for him ever since he stepped in to oversee this location. It's possible that he felt threatened that upper management might eventually take note of the 22-year-old's work ethic and promote him. However, that was never the employee's intention. 

Still, that did not stop the manager from punishing the employee any chance he got. When the 22-year-old spent weeks training a new hire, he could not help but notice a few weeks thereafter that his hours were being increasingly cut and given to the new guy instead. Some thank you for all those hours of training, I guess!

It got to the point where this guy realized he was being taken for granted and could easily earn more working somewhere else. When he decided to put in his two weeks' notice, his manager doubled down and cut his hours even more.
