"Got a complaint letter about our 20ft high Santa and Snowman. So naturally… I’ll plug them in for extra hour tonight 🎅🏻☃️😂 Do you think I should take them down?"

TO THE OCCUPIER OF THIS HOUSE I LIVE DOWN THE ROAD AND I AM ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIED BY THE GIANT SANTA AND GIANT SNOWMAN INFLATABLES YOU HAVE PUT OUTSIDE YOUR PROPERTY.

THEY LOOK CHEAP, TACKY AND COMPLETELY OUT OF PLACE IN OUR QUIET STREET. THE INFLATABLES ARE AN EYESORE THEY RUIN THE CHARACTER OF THE ROAD AND THEY MAKE THE WHOLE AREA LOOK RIDICULOUS RATHER THAN THE NICE TIDY STREET IT USUALLY IS.

"This is a formal complaint," this person writes

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST, THIS IS A FORMAL COMPLAINT FROM SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY LIVES NEAR NEARBY. THE DISPLAY IS OFFENSIVE TO THE NEIGHBOURHOOD. IT IS RUINING THE VIEW FROM OUR HOMES AND IT SHOWS ZERO RESPECT FOR THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE TAKE THEM DOWN IMMEDIATELY. IF THEY ARE NOT DEMOVED

NOT REMOVED AT ONCE I WILL BE REPORTING THE MATTER TO THE COUNCIL AND THE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION, AND I WILL BE URGING OTHERS IN THE ROAD TO DO THE SAME. SO, DO THE DECENT THING AND BRING THEM IN BEFORE TONIGHT! REGARDS, AN UNHAPPY NEIGHBOUR

    Here they are!

Man in holiday sweater stands with arms raised, smiling, in front of 2 20-foot inflatable decorations, 1 of Santa Claus, 1 of a snowman, in front of a brick 2-story house

Many commenters encouraged this person to never change, despite the haters

creatively.crisp Please get inflatables for every single holiday during the year

I wonder if the letter's author is alone in their feelings, or if others are unsettled by these large inflatables, too

rynbrown1998 Love that they felt the need to write such an angry letter. But failed to leave any contact details for you to speak with them about their concerns

samlaveryy I vote at least 5 more of each

tiredandtested ☑ *immediately heads to B&M to find bigger and tackier inflatables

rebecca.emilie So... I would go and buy them some friends and get the tackiest Christmas lights and decs I could find! Then contact the local news and paper etc and raise some money for charity by having people visit →
