Grandpa password protects the iPad's he buys for his grandkids after finding out his daughter-in-law sells his expensive gifts for spare cash: 'The kids can’t have nice stuff because of her'

When parents disagree with a grandparent's opinion, they get total veto power, but when a grandparent doesn't agree with a mom or dad's parenting tactics with their grandkids, things get a little spicy at the family dinner table. Although we all love a drama-free household, there are moments for every grandparent that urge them to rock the boat to protect the little ones. 

A grandpa found out some unsettling news about his daughter-in-law's spending habits, and to protect the sanctity of his grandkids' Christmas presents, he took matters into his own hands… And of course, the capable hands of the Apple Engineers at the iPad store. 

Every parent is entitled to govern their kids' punishments and rewards as they see fit, but when this grandpa found out that his DIL was using some unsavory parenting tactics to keep her kiddos and their bank accounts in check. Selling off her kids' expensive gifts from Granny and Papa when they were in trouble, this mom used the spare cash to pay for her biweekly nail appointment, and this didn't sit right with Grandpa. So he decided that this year's Christmas gift would be password-protected, ensuring the kids' mother couldn't wipe their new iPads and sell them off for some extra cheddar.
