Wow, that is a pretty crazy concept that we had never properly considered before. Ferrets, in their natural habitat are burrowing critters. Living in a series of interconnected tubes. Which obviously makes them rather enjoy spending time playing in plastic tubes when they are domesticated. But when you take a moment to think about it, there are so many tubes out in the hooman world, and more often than not, finding yourself within one of those tubes can be quite the terrifying experience. Anything from gutters, to sewage, to electricity can involve tube-like structures and it would be more than fair to say that none of them are a good place to hangout in…

Sometimes it really feels as though lost or escaped animals are provided with some sort of guidance system which delivers them to the nearest hooman who can help them. Because just think what could have happened had this poor ferret landed on someone’s doorstep who has a phobia or rodents? Or someone who has a big and reactive dog at home? It would be tragedy for the fluffy noodle. And not only did this noodle avoid the bad, she landed specifically on the doorstep of someone who loves her kind. It is truly impressive.
