Harry Potter is one of those franchises that you either rewatch once a year, throughout the year, or very seldom. If you rewatch it once a year, there's a very good chance that this is the time of the year you'll rewatch it, especially the first movie. Harry Potter isn't a Christmas franchise per se, but Christmas comes every year, and there's usually some important scene happening during Christmastime. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, showing Harry and Ron celebrating Christmas together, is genuinely touching, and who wouldn't want to spend a Christmas at Hogwarts with their best friend? The scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows where Harry and Hermione visit Godric's Hollow on Christmas Eve is devastating and touching. Christmas isn't always the happiest time of year, but if you can spend some of it escaping into a world of Harry Potter memes, it might feel just a little bit better.
