Cats act like the fridge is a personal snack vault they simply haven't been given full access to yet. The second the door opens, they show up out of nowhere, eyes wide, fully convinced something in there is meant for them. It doesn't matter if it is morning, midnight, or the fifth time you have opened it with no plan. This is clearly their moment.

Some cats sit patiently and stare, trying to look polite and deserving. Others stretch up and lean in like they are double checking the inventory. There is always that one cat who sniffs the cold air as if it might magically turn into food. Every sound, every movement, feels important.

What really makes it funny is the confidence. These cats are not asking. They are supervising. Even when the fridge closes and nothing is handed over, they stick around just in case. When the fridge opens again eventually, and they refuse to miss their chance.
