While we might have spent a lot of the time training doggos in the past to protect us from all manner of evil. Those days are largely behind us since the advent of at home security cameras. But it seems as though those protective genes have remained deep down in their doggo souls. Lying in wait, always ready to pounce and protect us should the situation ever call for it. And that is exactly what happened when one woman's staffordshire terrier who was known only for being the sweetest, kindest and most caring pupper on the planet leapt into protector mode when their home was invaded by two less than welcome individuals.

This is a story of the blind courage of a doggo in the face of terror. This is the story of canine and hooman love and the lengths to which a doggo is willing to go to protect it. This is the story to put all stereotypes to bed, where they belong.

Well, that sure is one of the better ways we have seen people pass on a pupper to someone else when they could no longer properly care for it on their own. It is a tough thing to have to do. But it must be much easier to do when you have family by your side to support and help you through it.

Wow, now that is some properly heroic stuff right there. It is no small thing for a doggo to completely switch temperaments and go into protector mode when that is not their usual behavior. But in this case it seems as though the pupper knew what she was doing and used her great size and ferocious reputation to her advantage.
