He was brave for everyone. Only one student spoke up, but you know for a fact that each and every student in that classroom was thankful. It's a known fact in the cat world: if you mention that you have a cat, at any place, at any time, then you must provide cat tax. This student was simply enforcing the laws of the universe, and the teacher better have paid up, because otherwise… unforeseen consequences will happen. We don't know what they are. But we don't risk it. We always show cat tax pictures when we bring up our little fluffballs.

You would think that at some point, we would truly learn our lesson. But we don't. We keep buying them unnecessarily expensive things. Years and years down the line, knowing every quirk that our cat has, every like and every dislike, every preference and every annoyance, we just keep on doing this… in the hopes that maybe this one is one that they will appreciate. And if they don't… well, the tree comes in a pretty heckin' cool box, doesn't it, kitty?
