So many things could have gone differently that night, but the biggest element in play was the rain. We owe that rain everything, and we will forever be grateful for how that night turned out. The next day, it wasn't raining anymore, but the little stray doggo was still there. When we contacted the shelter, we learned of his escape, and we knew we could never let him spend another rainy night alone in a shelter again. We knew every rainy day from that day on would be spent in our loving arms, as a family.
Now, every downpour that comes down reminds us of the delightful adoption of our dog, and we know someone else's magical moment is also taking place.
