You know what? We would 100% fall for this. Not because we would confuse this mountain lion with a stray cat, but because our desire to have a mountain lion as a pet is too strong to resist. We know we're not supposed to. We know they're wild animals. But think of the cuteness of their giant paws. Think of the snuggles. Think of the ridiculousness of their airplane ears. No! We can't. Do you remember those commercials from the early 2000s for Verizon, the “Can you hear me now?” guy? Yeah, this is giving us those vibes. It's so nostalgic to think about, and it really was a great time for commercials. They were actually funny then. Now, they're all getting taken over by AI, like the Coca-Cola ads (more and more companies are actually jumping on this train, too). Let's all just go back to 2005; everything was better back then.
