Grieving woman rescues a dog that she later finds out looks identical to the childhood dog of her recently passed father, comment section has everyone in tears: ‘He sent his best boy back to earth’

Recently, a woman who lost her father adopted a dog from a shelter. Little did she know during the adoption that she was adopting a dog that looked identical to her father's childhood dog.

There are many unexplainable occurrences that happen in life. As humans, we love to put meaning to them, but we don't actually have physical proof to it most of the time. However, we know it to be true because we can feel it in our hearts. Love and empathy is something uniquely human and we don't give that up even through stories online.

Linnea recently lost her beloved father. She was having a hard time without him, if you have ever experience grief, then you know how lonely it can be. So, she decided to go to the shelter and rescue a dog. She found one that tickled her heart and made her feel less sad. A fluffy black and white dog that went home with her and instantly became part of the loving furever family. Not too long after, she was going through her late father's stuff and found something that was jarring.

It was a photo from when he was a child. But this wasn't any old photo! In this picture, her young father was holding his childhood dog, a fluffy black and white dog… That looked IDENTICAL to the dog she just adopted.

At first she was kind of freaked out. What are the odds? This dog had literally all of the same markings as this dog from the past. How could something like this happen? What in tarnation was the universe trying to tell her??
But that fear quickly transformed into comfort. The more she thought about it, the more she truly felt like her dad has sent her his dog. This pup was already comforting her through a difficult time, but she thought she only knew that. Now, she realized that the dog knew he was sent to comfort her before she even knew.
We don't truly know what happens beyond the grave or over the rainbow bridge, but she truly believes this dog is the reincarnated version of her dad's childhood dog and he sent him to be with her. Whether that's the truth or now, the comment section totally agrees with her.
Comment after comment says that her father passed, reunited with his childhood best friend, and told him he had one more job for him to do. So he sent him back to earth to comfort his little girl.
