'Why you shouldn't eat at other people's houses': This cat was banned from the counter, so it maliciously complied in the most chaotic, comedic, and cat-like way

AnonymousOkapi "No cats on the counter" very quickly turned in to "good cats, who get off the counter promptly when asked, might be given cheese" in my house. One of us got trained there, not sure it was him...

Surprise Pitiful9191 I respect this cat for "making it work" in the smallest of containers. Ten out of ten. He could teach other cats how to really cat.

panda2502wolf So far I see no cat on counter in any of these photos. George appears perfectly well behaved.

Thestolenone You should put a proper bed for him up on top of the fridge then he will probably leave the rest alone.

BooBoo_Cat My cat is not allowed on the counter, and more importantly, not allowed on the stove, for safety reasons. He KNOWS this.

At night, he commits "crimes". WE KNOW he jumps on the counter and stove, because there has been evidence (ex. things knocked over). The other night, I woke up to go to the bathroom. My cat is sitting on the stove, looks at me, and defiantly meows.

dalgeek This post could also be named "why you shouldn't eat at other people's houses".

Was at the in-laws for the holidays one year, wife's grandma has all the food set out on the kitchen island like a buffet. I walk outside for a few minutes then come back to see her shitty little dog on the counter sniffing all the food. I didn't eat anything the rest of the night unless it came out of a sealed container.
