This cat knows it could get on the counter if it wanted to, but it's choosing to press its hooman's buttons. Now, that's confidence. He knows he's doing something wrong. He knows he's also technically not doing something wrong. Does he give one hoot about it? No. Will he probably get on the table as soon as she turns her back on him? Absolutely.

If you ask this cat, it's not he who got bigger, it's the space that got smaller. Obviously! There's no way that his petite, graceful frame outgrew his favorite spot. There's no way something like that could happen. The hooman must have done something stoopid and moved things around, causing his space to be too small. Hoomans, can't live with ‘em, can’t live without 'em!

Imagine just seeing someone else's drink, sauntering up, and taking a sip. We would never do that. But a cat? No problem doing it whatsoever. The cat probably thinks the hooman went out and got this fancy drink just for them to try. You really do have to admire their view of their own self-worth.
