One of the questions that we have always had, will always have, and will never have answered: if now allowed to hug, why so huggable? Why, out of all the animals in the world, did we choose to make the bear symbolic of hugs? It's like the most unfair thing in the world. We could have done the same thing about cats or dogs, or even capybaras, but no. We chose the one animal that we will never, under any circumstances, will actually be able to hug. Maybe a cub though. We might risk a cub. If we knew for a fact that momma bear was not around the corner somewhere, waiting to grab us.

Actually, that thing that we said about bears before - we take that back. Because there are these bears. And while the odds of us ever encountering one of these beautiful things in the wild are essentially nonexistent, if we ever did, we would risk hugging them. These things are way too silly to ever try to harm us. They would hug us right back, and it would instantly become the best moment of our lives. Being a panda nanny has always been our dream job, even more than writing about cute animals every single day. And yes, that is a totally real job. Look it up. We promise we didn't make it up ourselves.
