Dogs are heroes. There is no other way of putting it. In the moments in which we are either unable to reach out for help ourselves, or are incapacitated and would go unnoticed a doggo is pretty much the only creature that can and regularly does save us. Now, sure, we hear you, a lot of those doggos have specialized training and are not your prototypical doggo.

But that is why we are proud to tell you of this tale, which depicts the story of a doggo who came from some of the worst conditions imaginable. Who lived with people who showed him everything but love. But when he became part of a fur family who showed him only unconditional love, he managed to make such a recovery that he ended up becoming what can only be considered as the pawfect pupper. Eventually becoming his momma's best pregnancy pal and his papa's literal savior.

Goodness, it truly brings a tear to your eye to imagine a poor doggo who has been treated so poorly throughout its life that it does not even feel comfortable enough or know how to walk on a leash. The thing that we hoomans take the most for granted when it comes to dogs. Just think of the implications, it means that dog has never been taken to the park, never been taken for any kind of walk and worst of all has never even been taken to go potty. What a harrowing life it must have been.

Oh wow, now we are welling up but for a different reason. How utterly wonderful that such a doggo who had known only the bad things in life would be able to turn things around and trust in a new hooman. To become the dog of dreams, a canine child who understands you better than he does himself. It is rare for doggos to become this devoted even if they have had a safe and secure life up until the moment they are adopted. Which is what makes this transformation all the more admirable.
