The thought of someone sumping this poor little freezing kitten in a vet's shelter somewhere breaks our heart a little, we have to say. We would not have been able to do it. We would not have been able to leave her alone for one second, even during the examinations. And still, we have to at least thank them for dropping the kitten off here and not on the corner of some street somewhere. We have seen both, and this is the option that we implore people to choose, because it's the better one - it's the one that actually gives cats like this a chancet o survive.

This is exactly what we are talking about. It is better like this. It is better to do this than look the other way or to dump the cat somewhere where they will have no chance of surviving on their own. We understand that not everyone can take care of a cat - for various reasons. So, if you can't, learn from this person. It takes a little more effort to get to a place that can actually take care of an injured or sick kitten, but it's so, so much better than leaving it alone to fend for itself.

This person wasn't ready, but the cat knew that it was time. The cat knew that the cat-shaped hole in their hearts needed to be filled right meow.
