There's something so wholesome about farm animals.

Seriously, they're just cute and happy and always smiling. Farm life is so beautiful and serene. It's hard work, but you get to be outside all the time, in touch with nature, and feel the fulfillment of honest work. You can see everyday the work that you do, and the animals that you help. Farm animals have lived alongside humans for thousands of years, shaping how societies eat, work, and live. They are a significant part of agricultural life, providing food, labor, and companionship, while also helping maintain ecosystems and rural traditions.

From cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and horses, each plays its own role in the structure of the farm. Cows provide milk and meat and are known for their calm, social nature. Sheep offer wool and often move together in close-knit flocks. Goats are curious and adaptable, famous for their playful personalities and ability to thrive in varied environments. Pigs are highly intelligent animals with strong social bonds, despite often being underestimated and seen as fat! Chickens and ducks supply eggs and help control insects, while horses have historically assisted with transportation and farm labor. Even today, they symbolize strength, partnership, and trust between humans and animals.

When I was growing up I loved a certain video game that was all around farming! It's called Harvest Moon, and you play as a character building a farm. You plant vegetables and fruits, you harvest them, you have a barn with a sheep, cow, and you can purchase a horse to ride around. It's the absolute cutest game – you get to make friends with everyone in town, and even choose a partner at the end of the first season. You basically role play living on a farm, and seriously what could be cuter than that?
