Curious car mechanic stray cat who helped man fix his car suddenly begs to become man’s house cat as temperatures plummet, man says: ‘He is finally learning to house cat though and loves snuggles.’

Most stray cat stories are more complicated and convoluted than a mirror maze, but this story is one of simplicity and sweetness. As one man who was innocently fixing his car kept having a cat accompany him. Eventually said cat decided it was time to move in with this hooman and they lived happily ever after cat sweaters and all.

If you are a regular reader here you will know that we usually like to preface feline rescue stories with the fact that they are tough. Most cats seem to find themselves in dire situations until a hooman comes along and is ready to invest their time and money into rehabilitating a cat who has had less than a good amount of luck in life.

But it seems as though the hoomans in this story must have been doing something really right in their lives ot have this much good karma that the Cat Distribution System would deliver them a cat who would not only support them in the fixing of their car, but then also demand to become a pawmanent member of their family when it felt the time was right. An uncommon and rarely heard of experience that boggles the mind and warms the heart.

  • Well, not to steal the punchline here, but come on a cat who seemingly has no home and is only interested in your affection? That is not a decision that is yet to be made. That is a decision that has been made for you the moment that relationship started. That is the opportunity that every cat lover in the world wishes would come their way and would hold onto with both paws, not letting go under any circumstances. Heck, the whole cold thing is more of an excuse than anything else at that point. Cats can handle serious levels of snow if they need to, claiming that it’s too cold is really pushing it.

  • How heckin wholesome can this story get. To think of the amount of tough tales there are in which a cat is given a home and then is found to be seriously sick, and here we have a feline who has a bit of an issue. But even said issue just makes him cuter as he allows his pawrents to dress him in cute sweaters? Most cats will not let you dress them even on a good day, let alone when they are not feeling well. We do not know what kind of witchcraft or wizardry is going on here but it is far beyond our understanding that is for sure.
