It's just another day in January. We all know what that means. Get home, immediately put on our pawjamas, and throw ourselves in that purrfect part of the couch where you sink in like a puzzle piece. The funniest part about this meme? It's 100% purrcent true. Cats would be the type to text “K” to a heartfelt pawragraph from their hoomans. We signed up for this life, didn't we?
I don't want to act like every cat is the same, but there's definitely a consensus in the cat community about how independent our felines are. They want us for our food, water, and shelter, and sometimes, reward us for it. We wouldn't want it any other way, though. Owning a cat is delayed gratification. All it takes is one kitty cuddle in the meowrning to make us forget about how they wouldn't respond to our text messages if they owned cellphones.
