Cat lover rescues and rehomes three neonate kittens from the ceiling of his workplace with the help of his courageous colleagues: ‘Two hours later of work safe behaviour, and I was able to pull three tiny babies from the insulation batting.’

You may have thought that going to work is a standard an boring affair, but this story proves that you can never tell what the work day will bring, for example you might find three tiny kittens hanging out in your office's ceiling. How's that for unexpected?

Well, it is incredibly unexpected. But when it comes to cats, many of us cat lovers have come to expect the unexpected. To be aware that there is a good chance that the last thing you could imagine, is a very real possibility when it comes to cats. We think it has something to do with their inventive, determined and crafty nature that allows them to go beyond thinking laterally and think on an entirely different plane of consciousness unbeknown to us hoomans.

And it is this unique kind of thinking that led one cat momma to break into this workplace and find a way into the space between the ceiling of one floor and the floor of another, which she deemed safe enough to store her litter in. While she was right, it came as quite the surprise to the unsuspecting employees who came in to work one day to hear the ceiling meow at them…

Well, that is around about the last thing that you could reasonably expect to happen at work. Sure, there could be emergencies of al different kinds, but the ceiling meowing at you is one that you would be hard pressed to pull out of your imagination. Though we have to say it does have a certain snow day vibe to it. In the sense that it is something that has to be addressed, it will pull you away from your work for sure, but it is not the bad kind of emergency and you are really happy it has happened.

Wow, what a wonderfully wholesome moment and a lucky one at that considering their mother had already been trapped. They could have been left all alone in the space between the ceiling and the floor until it would have been too late. We do not know how the rest of this rescuer’s work day looked, but if it were us in that situation there would be very little getting done around the office for the rest of the day. That is unless we just took off straight away. Which we think would be a pretty reasonable action to take considering you have three mostly blind kittens to care for.
