At least some people like void cats.

Void cats are typically known to be adopted less, and less wanted as cats. It may come as a shock to some, but it's true. Superstition and historical persecution are some of the initial reasons why black cats aren't wanted. It's still associated with witchcraft and bad luck since the Middle Ages. During the Salem witch trials, they were considered "familiars" or spies for witches, leading to the persecution of these poor cats. They have the lowest adoption rates in shelters, which is heartbreaking. Another reason people tend to steer away from them is that they can be quite difficult to photograph. It's somewhat practical, if you're someone who's really into photography or highlighting their life, then the void, or undistinguishable blob will be a disappointment when trying to take photos. They also "disappear" in darkness, which leaves owners easily panicked over finding them, or assuming they're lost. The biggest reason is the association with evil trope. They're still seen as spooky, creepy, or plotting.

My best friend has a void cat, and I'll be the first to say how adorable they are! Who cares if they show up as blobs in photographs? It's hilarious and adorable that they're a fluffy black blob walking around your home. They don't deserve the stereotypes about being bad luck or associated with witchcraft. That's all hearsay anyway. Plus, what's so wrong with witchcraft? I think every woman should embrace their inner goddess, witch, or anything else that makes them feel like they're powerful, intuitive, and important.
