Just a few months after saving a scared cat in a Home Depot parking lot, wholesome employee finds a tiny kitten at work to complete their fluffy feline family

Everyone knows that every orange cat needs a black cat purrtner. Duh.

We may be months away from Halloween, but black and orange will never go out of style here at I Can Has Cheezburger, especially when it comes in the form of two awwdorable kitties! A few months ago, a cat lover rescued a stray orange cat hiding under their mother's car in a Home Depot parking lot. But, the Cat Distribution System wasn't done with them yet. Recently, they showed up to work and found a tiny black kitten in need of a rescue and a loving home, and they thought to themselves, "Why not?" Black and orange go purrfectly well together, and after a meowment of cautious introduction, the two became fast feline friends.

Cat adoptions can be pawsitively spontaneous, like explained in our story below. That's one thing that people who want cats should know - there's never a purrfect time to adopt a cat. Sometimes, cats are thrust upon you, and it's up to you to figure it out. You don't always have to keep them, but you do have to help them get to their furrever home. It's the right thing to do, even if it's hard. You would want someone to help you if you were in their pawsition, right?

It's not like this cat-lover needed extra excuses to keep this black kitten cutie, but if it makes them feel any better, cats tend to do better in twos. At least kittens do, that's fur sure. And, as a silver lining, they'll have the ultimate cat combo later in the year when it's time for spooky season!

Although we've purrsonally never had this combo of cute cats, we can only imagine how fun it must be. Orange cats are known for their chaotic and himbo purrsonalities, and voids are known for being cuddly, vocal, and intelligent. The two of them combined… we can only imagine the shenaniganry they will get into together. They'll certainly be like two peas in a pod!

Reminds me of when my little brother got a void kitten and my 3-ish-year-old (at the time) orange immediately adopted her <3 there are some pet combos meant to be!
