In this story, an employee had agreed to a contract in which they were paid weekly, but it was not working out so well for them. Supposedly, this meant that their boss would write them a check every Friday for the hours they had worked that week.
However, there were multiple occasions when this boss was not in the office on Fridays, meaning that they didn't get paid. When they asked for this not to happen again, he mocked the fact that they had texted him over the weekend asking to be paid. They weren't sure if they had been taking things too far by contacting him over the weekend when he didn't pay them.

Is it unreasonable to ask my boss to send my weekly earnings a day after I’m supposed to receive them?
