Entitled neighbor causes damage to resident's lawn and mailbox by constantly backing his car through their front lawn, leading to confrontation: ‘It became a muddied up mess’

We can't all be good drivers, but if you are as bad as this neighbor, maybe you shouldn't be on the road.

Every driver has taken a driving test at one point, so we were all deemed qualified enough to be able to own cars and get behind the wheel. That being said, we all have at least one thing we avoid at all costs when we're behind the wheel, because we know there is no chance we can do it without hitting something in the process.

Parallel parking is the Achilles' heel of many drivers, for example. Many people would prefer spending an extra 10 minutes looking for another parking spot rather than enduring the challenge of successfully parallel parking between two other cars. It can only lead to wasted time, frustration, and probably a scratch on at least two of the cars involved.

Funnily enough, most drivers manage to avoid their Achilles' heel and successfully get themselves from point A to point B without causing damage to themselves, their car, or anyone around them. However, that cannot be said about the neighbor in the story below. He has a huge flaw in the way he drives, and it causes damage to much more than just his car. His Achilles' heel is that he cannot back his car into his own driveway without causing damage to everything else around it.

It all started when a resident noticed her mailbox kept getting damaged, and after having to fix it twice, the resident figured out the problem must be her next-door neighbor and his new truck. This was confirmed when the resident actively saw how her neighbor backs up into his driveway with his new truck–by driving all over her front lawn, sidewalk, and grass.

The resident immediately asked the neighbor to stop and told him to be mindful of his driving since he keeps causing damage to her property. However, the neighbor has no intention of changing the way he gets into his driveway. He claims it is the only way for him to drive up there, and that it is not his fault if some things get ruined in the process.

Which leads to the question, should the resident bear the consequences of this neighbor's terrible driving skills, or should she take more extreme measures to get him to stop driving over her lawn?
