You know, we are starting to get the feeling that perhaps we should be encouraging this sock stealing game. Or at least legitimizing it in some way because there are two main benefits that could come out of such an act. The first being that our doggos would feel all the more closer to us. A toy that smells like their pawrent is always going to be a hit and heck it could have a really pawsitive knock on effect for your relationship. And the second thing is that if you make this game legit and supply an old sock of yours, there is a chance that you will not randomly lose anymore socks.

See this is a pawfect example of what we were talking about before. When our pupper steal our socks it is a way to feel closer to us and to stick to what they feel is safe. And what could be safer than hiding under the covers that smell like your pawrents, curled up with one of your pawrents’ socks? For a pupper, there is not much else that can compare. So the best thing that we can do is lean in and let it happen, but perhaps just a little bit more on our terms rather than their thieving terms.
