And that is purrfectly ok. Sometimes we say these things just so that we do not have to admit to ourselves that we will not get around to doing them. The important thing is to not beat yourself up for not doing them, or for saying that you will do them. Coping comes in many shapes and forms and sometimes coping looks like saying you’ll do things that you know deep down you will never do. What is important is that you do what makes you feel good and fulfilled, even if that is doing absolutely nothing.

This is the kind of silliness that we have wished for you to enjoy. Because sure there are important things in life, like protecting your home. But that does not mean that we need to take them too seriously all of the time. We can do just as well by taking them seriously only part of the time and the rest of the time making light out of those serious situations with a little levity and silliness. And it would be really rather silly to imagine that this tiny fluff ball of a pup could protect anything. It would struggle to protect its food bowl from a hamster.
