I can't imagine any living creature having to survive outside in the freezing cold right now, let alone with a wounded leg! It's people like this kind woman who truly restore humanity in our society. This cat would most likely not have made it through the winter with a paw like that. And he was acting like he wanted to at first! He evaded capture and pets. But once he was shown the cozy indoor life, he was instantly changed. Now he is the sweetest little baby showing so much love and thanks for his rescuer.

The woman has a small Amazon wishlist to help her with his needs, since she is a one-woman operation, she can use all the help she can get. But she simply does it out of love for the cats. She seems like the type of person who could never leave a suffering innocent little guy out there in the cold, no matter how stand-offish he is. There are stray cats all over, and many enjoy being free. However, during weather like this, it is important to open your heart and show kindness because they might need help. We're not saying you should end up with 20 stray cats living in your bedroom for the winter… But like, if it helps the cats, then maybe? Look, we just love cats, alright? And we love to applaud women like this one from Ohio who didn't give up on this little guy. Now, hopefully, he heals quickly and is in a warm and loving home long before next winter!
