In this story, an individual left a safe corporate role for a dream job as a senior project manager at a startup. During the interview process, the company seemed like a competent place that he would want to be, but a few months into the role, he started to have second thoughts.
He took a pay cut for this role, meaning he was using his savings to pay rent, and he didn't actually have a specialized team to work with, as there were only 8 people in the company. As well as this, the job description and its reality did not match up at all. He wanted to leave, but wasn't sure if he should try to stick it out.

Accepted my "dream job" at a startup and its basically an unpaid internship disguised as a senior role, do I bail after 3 months?
