Dogs are just wonderful for the fact that they never lose their innocence. It does not matter how old they grow, they never become jaded and never stop believing that they can do anything they set their minds to. Even when, as in this photo, physics has most certainly put them in their place. It stems from a tenacity, a vigor that many of us hoomans would do rather well to learn to adopt, because only if we place limitations upon the world around us will it stop us from doing what we deem impossible. Oh we have all seen that face in the past. It is a combination of unbelievable excitement coupled with intense concentration and determination. Sometimes it feels that if we were to relent in those moments, we would be making our doggos happier than they had ever been in their lives. As though the random piece of food they so badly want from our plates will change the very meaning of their lives. The truth however, is that it is just another piece of food, and their motivation is much more generically applied to all foods, not just that pawticular piece they are going after.
