Single people try to treat themselves to a nice day out, but it's still lonesome when everyone around you is paired up and in love. But that grass isn't always greener. A lot of couples discover that they're truly unhappy with each other on big romantic days like this, often due to mismatches over expectations of the day. Many couples will go out to a nice dinner and a movie, but one of the people in that relationship will see a TikTok where a BF got his GF tons of gifts and a 5-star hotel getaway, and spend the rest of the night envious of that couple.

    A creative soul like her shouldn't waste her time with this dude. He gave her like, 3 seconds of thought after she spent "days" pouring her heart and soul into her music for him. Ending things with someone you care about is never easy, but at this point, this guy is telling her through his actions that he couldn't care less about her.

    I know the internet loves to say "dump your BF" at any slight problem, but this seems like a rather unfixable conundrum. This girls' 110% effort into the relationship just doesn't match up with her BF's, like, 2% effort. 

    At least she can pen a few excellent breakup songs from this! Just think of how many amazing songs have resulted from the jolts of heartache. Get to writing, my friend!

    We didn't even discuss yet how pathetic unambitious it is that the BF here had a backup plan of buying last-minute flowers from 7-Eleven. 

    Oh, sorry — that was backup plan #2. The first backup plan was almost more insulting, since he wanted to take his GF outside to a bush that she probably sees every day since it's in her apartment complex, and take the flowers off that. I got chills, major icks, just thinking about that. 

    The 7-Eleven plan was almost as bad, since for some undisclosed reason, the BF was reliant on her to drive there for him to get a single rose. Did he even get her a Slurpee? That's the real question here!
