I remember when I first got my dog, and how much it changed my life. My parents took me to a shelter in high school, I had been begging for a dog for many years, but they were always cat people. Then suddenly, they changed their minds overnight! We were wandering around, and some of the dogs can be quite scary. But then we saw him…a cute husky that I took home immediately.
