15-year-old hears neighbor's dog howling and realizes they haven't been home for 2-weeks, breaks in, rescues him, and eventually gets to keep him: '[He] needed a loving home!'

A teenager was getting sick and tired of hearing her neighbor's dog whining and howling all day and night. The weather was intense, and he shouldn't have been outside anyway. When she went to investigate, she realized they hadn't been home for two weeks. So, she did what any dog-loving 15-year-old would do: she broke into their backyard and took the dog home.

At first, the pup was wary of them, he had never known warm love and didn't know how to react to these strangers. But the teen's kindness was evident, and soon the pup grew warm to them. So, they picked him up and took him home! He got a nice bath, food, and a warm place to sleep.

However, the neighbors eventually came home and wanted their dog back, and there is only so much a teenager can do about that… Don't worry! There is a happy ending.

The neighbor returned and took the dog back, even though the teen did not want to return him. Unfortunately, there is not much she can do in circumstances like this, especially has a child. Luckily, however, after several days, the dog was returned to her! Now, this sweet pup will always have a warm and safe place to life, with his rescuers!

This is not an easy feat for anyone to achieve, especially a teenager. It's scary to do what she did. There were laws broken and consequences looming. Luckily, it would appear that it was just the internet on her side, but also the universe. The pup no longer needs to fear abandonment or abvse. It doesn't take an adult to realize when an innocent creature like a dog needs help. This teenager did all she could to rescue this poor fur baby and it worked out to be a happy story for both her and the pup!

We're not here to support breaking and entering, but we are here to support any rescue that ends with an animal being loved and given a home. Teenagers can be reckless, but at least in this circumstance, it was for the better! Faith in humanity restored by the youth, yet again.
