'It looks like she is not done fighting': Paralyzed rescue dog surprises family by learning to walk when no one is watching (Video)

This doggo is the definition of canine courage: her family found her struggling to walk after everyone went to bed, almost every night.

We can't imagine how terrible it must be to be paralyzed as a doggo. Most of the fun of being a dog is running around, playing with other doggos, and choosing with pawfect precision where your next potty spot is. But dogs in wheelchairs don't have any of those luxuries, if they can even get wheelchairs, that is.

A wheelchair dog pretty much depends on their pawrent for everything. From the moment they wake up, their human has to get them in their wheelchair in order to even go to the bathroom. Then, if they have the resources, they have to go and attend physical therapy, which they probably have no idea what is going on. On a side note, our dog would never survive this water treadmill therapy because she despises water with a passion that rivals that of cats.

But not Kaylee, the determined pupper in our video today. She's not only crushing her therapy, but her family found out that she's even more determined to walk than they thought when they found her "walking" after everyone fell asleep. On their pet camera, they saw her getting up, taking a few steps, falling down, and getting back up again. It's the most inspiring thing we've seen not only today, but at least all week.

Her story is a reminder that no matter how bad things seem, hope is the one thing that no one can ever take from you. You would be surprised how far hope, and tenacity, will take you in life.

This isn't the reason why we bought our pet camera, but it's certainly confirming to us that having a pet camera is a must-have in your house. You might just catch once-in-a-lifetime moments like this that you never would have known about otherwise. Mostly we use ours to catch our dog sleeping in one of her many ridiculous positions, but this is way better.

There wouldn't be words to describe how proud of our doggo we would be if we found them in this situation. Kaylee deserves all the treats, every day, for the rest of her life.
