Stolen miniature poodle found dumped in park by dog pawrent who rescued and adopted the pupper into their fur family with 2 canine siblings, dog dad says: ‘She has been an absolute joy for our family’

Dumped dogs come in all shapes, sizes and backstories, and this particular story is one of theft, regret, abandonment and adoption. An emotional rollercoaster of a pupper rescue.

Thankfully, in most cases doggo dumpings are relatively straightforward affairs. At least in the sense that when a dog is dumped it is likely by the original owner and once they are rescued their days living a life of darkness and depravity are over. But in this story we have a suspected case of a canine who was stolen from their original owner due to their pedigree, but upon discovering that the poor pupper was not well, was abandoned in a park, left to fend for itself against the foxes and opossums of the city.

An experience which would have made even the sweetest of puppers lose hope and trust in hoomanity, or at least that is what you would expect to happen. Because when this sweet doggo came upon our heroic rescuer, they did not shy away, instead they did whatever they could to seek help, and help is exactly what they got. Well, they actually ended up getting a heck of a lot more than just some help but we will let you find out those details for yourself.

  • Goodness, that must have been one of the scariest nights of that poor pupper’s life. To think what it must be like to be dumped in a park like that, and then with your diminutive size have to fend off any other animals who might see you as a snack for a whole night. All the while your head is still reeling at what has happened to you and how it could come to be that your family has abandoned you. That is so much to put on such tiny and cute shoulders. It is no wonder she wanted nothing other than to sleep in safety.

  • Wow, what a moment of relaxation that must have been for this sweet doggo. To finally be taken care off, pampered a bit and then be given the honor of sleeping beside the person who saved your life and restabilized your reality. It is all that a doggo could ever ask for and a heck of a lot more even.
