You might have thought that when the CDS delivers a cat to someone, both the cat and the person submit to the CDS's will immediately. But as you'll come to find in this story, sometimes it takes a few inspection visits to make sure that the environment is fit for the incoming feline.

Sure, it is not a story we hear often. Most stray and street cats are so grateful to be coming off the streets that they simply accept whatever conditions are put before them, say thank you and live happily ever after. But it does stand to reason that there would eventually be a Cat Distribution System catto who would choose to be picky about the home they have had chosen for them.

After all, cats are amongst the pickiest creatures on the planet. And so we are left with this situation in which a cat who had lived most of their life by and inside a dumpster, carefully checking to see if the home they were offered was going to be up to their standards. Who knows, maybe they were checking to see that the comforts of their dumpster could be found in their new home…

That is the beauty of the CDS, it knows what you need before you know it yourself. And with so many cats in need of good and loving homes, the CDS cannot simply sit around and wait for a cat pawrent to decide for themselves when they will be emotionally available once more to house another cat. That would take far too long. So instead they watch closely waiting for the purrfect moment to pounce and like a cat going after its prey, they pounce on the unsuspecting pawrent at just the right moment. Catching them by surprise, but giving them the cat they needed at the moment they needed it.

Wow, this is truly surprising cat behavior. A stray cat just waltzing into your home after you is pretty much unheard of. Usually an outdoor cat will be incredibly cautious if they even have the stones to walk into your home after you. They would be so easily spooked by each unfamiliar sight and sound that they would run back and forth from the door in a desperate effort to stay safe. But not this brave and bold cat child, and what a reward she was given. Chicken nuggets are one of the most highly prized hooman foods, so you can imagine just how insane a flavor experience it would be for a cat to monch on some.
