  • My old narcissistic boss posted fake Glassdoor reviews for his company and they're AMAZING

The horrible, horrible narcissistic owner of a company I used to work for has (had) absolutely terrrrrrible reviews on Glassdoor - and they are very well- deserved. He is a nightmare.
  • I guess he noticed and decided to post some of his own...this one in particular had me D NG laughing this morning. Important to remember that narcissists in the workplace are truly the most miserable people alive and the best revenge is nonchalance ;)
  • Some words have been changed to synonyms to prevent searchability / maintain anonymity but the gist is identical. Enjoy the unhinged and unfiltered self-perception of a narc business owner:
  • 5/5 stars The Best Job I Have Ever Had - Pros: "Getting to work as a designer in this interiors office has been, unequivocally, the very best job I've had in my life. The
  • subject matter is unbelievably rewarding, but a standout in the industry is my boss and the atmosphere he curates - he made it truly special. He gives me the trust and space to explore my creativity and let my personal beliefs and strengths shine,
  • which is so so hard to find in any kind of creative workplace - truly rare for this kind of work. In addition, our office is cleaned regularly, and our boss spoils us every day by being his generous self - I feel so lucky. Numerous and unexpected days off,
  • thoughtful and expensive gifts, and exquisite lunches ordered in for the whole workplace. It could not have been more clear that he passionately and genuinely cares about us as individuals, not just
  • as his employees, which is something to be appreciated. I've never encountered this kind of humane treatment at this level of employment and excellence before.

  • Boss' Name is such an inspiring individual — he is someone I can - say I wholeheartedly look up to. He's so easygoing and great to work with, sweet, and incredibly smart. The way he leads our team made it so that coming into work
  • every day was a joy. This isn't just a workplace; it was a safe haven where I felt supported, inspired, and truly valued every single day, thanks mostly to my boss. I will miss this job every day that I am gone. I'll always be grateful for the time I spent here.
  • Cons: I can honestly say I did not have a single problem with management during my time here. I did struggle sometimes, but that was entirely within my control and not the fault of Boss' Name or Business Name."
  • I cannot believe this was written by a real and a (mostly) functioning human who OWNS A COMPANY. They thought this was a good idea to post online. Wild.

  • Puzzleheaded-Ne... Usually the 1 and 2 out of 5s stand out vs. 5 out of 5. I've don't look at the stars when I read the reviews. I look at the verbiage, wording. The common thing about toxic workplaces is
  • 1. management. Poor, toxic, play favorites etc. Management is the #1 reason why people leave their jobs and why workplace culture is toxic.
  • Your narc boss can post 5 out of 5s he wants but smart people can sniff out the bulls a mile away.
