It actually makes you feel better inside to smile! And you infect other people around you as well. The weekend is something that makes everyone smile because it's a time when you don't need to devote yourself to work or someone else. You cease to have the same kinds of responsibilities that the work week requires. Your boss tells you to do something on a Tuesday and you're basically forced to do it, but the weekend? The weekend is your time to be on your own and no one can tell you what to do. Even if the weekend rolls around and you have laundry, groceries, errands, and cleaning to do, you simply don't have to! And guess what? Your pet won't judge you either! Pets are another thing that makes us smile and feel good about ourselves. They are there for us during the busy, stressful work week, and they're there for us during the weekend when we have nothing we have to do.
