Sci-fi lovers just have more fun. We are a capable of imagining worlds outside of our own, and it helps us feel closer to humanity. The right sci-fi flick can take us out of ourselves and into something magical. It's a great community to be a part of. There are endless opportunities for themed parties and cosplaying and maybe even a little live action role-playing. But if you're not that kind of sci-fi fan, then you still are the kind of sci-fi fan who has an affinity for the seemingly impossible. We love to imagine the limits of technology, and to understand what would happen if we rubbed up against those. It makes us smarter, more open people. We know that Star Wars contains multitudes, and we're never ready to stop talking about it. As long as they keep giving us content, we will metabolize it as a fan base. Even if we hate everything they're doing, it still fuel for the fire. Plus you have to admit that indoor is pretty amazing. If you weren't a sci-fi fan, then you wouldn't know all the depths of this level of fandom. You wouldn't know all the untold depths it has within itself. You would be missing out on a whole lot of fun, a whole lot of memes, and a whole lot of good times. But if you're here, that likely means that you're already in the right mindset. You've embraced this genre and everything that it has to offer. You have your preferences and you have your biases, but you can come together under the umbrella of Science Fiction because you know that's where your home is.
