No matter how old you are, it's lovely to open up a lunch that someone else made for you!

Many of us spend our entire childhoods eating lunches made by Dad or Mom. You can expect the same kinds of foods day in and day out — PB&J, an apple, some chips, maybe a juice box. Best of all, your parents know exactly how you like your foods prepared. As a kid, we often take things like that for granted.

This stepmom stepped up to take care of her 16-year-old stepdaughter, because she wanted her to have a good lunch every day. Who could possibly object to that? Well… the teen's own Mom did, actually!

School lunches are healthy, but they're not exactly beloved by most of the students who scarf them down. Wilted green beans, gristly chicken patties, pizza with sugary tomato sauce… The list is long! A lot of teens are so hungry that they'll eat anything. But others truly detest what the lunch ladies are serving up, and they'd rather just eat nothing rather than force themselves to eat another sloppy joe.
It was very kind of this stepmother to notice that her stepdaughter wasn't eating, and she made her an excellent lunch. It had veggies in it and everything. Very healthy, and perfect for a growing teen girl. It really shouldn't matter who feeds a kid, right? They just need to eat enough to feel full so they can pay attention in math class instead of drowsing off.
